Socorro Coop election results
The District 3 election and meeting in Socorro was held yesterday, Saturday October 3rd, in Socorro. All three reform challengers beat the incumbents. It seems the citizens of Socorro decided it was time for some fresh faces on the SEC board.
The final tally shows:
- Don Wolbert 303 to Harold Baca's 278
- Prescilla Mauldin 347 to Juan Gonzales' 234
- Luis Aquilar 319 to Herman Romero's 267

Glad to hear the Socorro good-ole-boy co-op is in check! Maybe now it will start to function more like an actual co-operative than a cigar-smoking "gentleman's" club.
