Video Report: NRAO's VLA building renamed in honor of Senator Domenici

The National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO), which operates the Very Large Array (VLA) radio telescope among other projects, renamed its main Socorro operations building in honor of retiring NM Senator Pete Domenici. The move was not without controversy, due to ongoing ethics investigations related to Domenici's involvement in the firing of federal prosecutors, at the behest of Karl Rove and the Bush White House, for political reasons. The non-partisan, non-profit citizens group, Citizens for Responsiblity and Ethics in Washington lists Domenici among its list of the 25 most corrupt members of congress.

Audio quality is a bit sketchy in places; please bear with us, this is our first video report and we expect to work out the kinks as we climb the learning curve.
